FAQ

What are aluminum prints?

I can say without hesitation that aluminum prints are my favorite way to display my photographs. The detail and richness of the color on aluminum prints is truly stunning and in a league of it’s own. The photograph is literally printed onto a sheet of aluminum which is then attached to a frame so it arrives ready to hang.

Can I buy a print with a frame and mat?

I don’t sell framed or matted prints for several reasons: The right frame will present the print in the most appealing way in the space where it will hang. I don’t know what the space where you plan to hang your print looks like, so I can’t provide the best frame for you. Also, shipping a framed and/or matted print requires more packaging materials and greatly increases the shipping cost. A quality local frame shop has framers with the experience and skill to frame your print to your liking.

Why don’t the colors of my print match the colors of the photograph on my computer screen?

While computer screen technology has improved greatly, there are still variations that will cause colors to appear inaccurately. Calibrating your monitor is the best way to ensure that the colors you see are accurate. If you believe the colors on your screen are not accurate check the manual that came with your computer for calibration instructions. Even when calibrated, there are variations in the way different screens show color, brightness and contrast.

Why does it take 2 to 3 weeks for me to receive my order?

All prints are done to order and the lab that produces the larger prints can sometimes get backlogged causing shipping delays. Most orders will ship within one week, but shipping times can be up to two weeks when the lab is busy. There are also some rare occasions when I’m traveling on an extended trip. In these cases, orders will be fulfilled immediately on my return. Your credit card is not charged until your order ships.

Are your prints guaranteed?

Absolutely! All prints are guaranteed for the life of the original owner. If you are not happy with your print(s) for any reason, I will replace it to your satisfaction or refund your payment. Refund will be the full price paid for the print and does not include any shipping cost that may have been paid. If you request a refund, it will be issued in the original form of payment as quickly as possible.
