What are aluminum prints?
I can say without hesitation that aluminum prints are my favorite way to display my photographs. The detail and richness of the color on aluminum prints is truly stunning and in a league of it’s own. The photograph is literally printed onto a sheet of aluminum which is then attached to a frame so it arrives ready to hang.
European Frame: A black anodized aluminum frame flush to the edge that gives your print a clean, European look.
Float Mount: The ultimate modern look, a brushed aluminum float box is mounted to the back of the imaged aluminum. This option hangs your print 1.5 inches from the wall giving it a “floating” effect.
Can I buy a print with a frame and mat?
All aluminum prints come framed and ready to hang. Fine art paper prints are sold matted or unmatted. Matted photos are mounted on conservation grade board and overmatted with 4 ply conservation grade mat board. Shipping a framed print requires more packaging materials and greatly increases the shipping cost. A quality local frame shop has framers with the experience and skill to frame your print to your liking.
Why don’t the colors of my print match the colors of the photograph on my computer screen?
While computer screen technology has improved greatly, there are still variations that will cause colors to appear inaccurately. Profiling your monitor is the best way to ensure that the colors you see are accurate. If you believe the colors on your screen are not accurate check the manual that came with your computer for calibration instructions. Even when profiled, there are variations in the way different screens show color, brightness and contrast.
Why does it take 2 to 3 weeks for me to receive my order?
All prints are done to order and the lab that produces the prints can sometimes get backlogged causing shipping delays. Most orders will ship within one week, but shipping times can be up to two weeks when the lab is busy. There are also some rare occasions when I’m traveling on an extended trip. In these cases, orders will be fulfilled immediately on my return. Your credit card is not charged until your order ships.
Are your prints guaranteed?
Absolutely! All prints are guaranteed for the life of the original owner. If you are not happy with your print(s) for any reason, I will replace it to your satisfaction or refund your payment. Refund will be the full price paid for the print and does not include any shipping cost that may have been paid. If you request a refund, it will be issued in the original form of payment as quickly as possible.
